Our Pathologists are board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with specialties in Cytopathology, Neuropathology, Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, Liver Pathology, Hematopathology, Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine, Forensic Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Infectious Disease Pathology, and Chemical Pathology, among others.
Carol F. Adair, M.D.
Dr. Adair is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. Her area of special interest is Endocrine Pathology. Dr. Adair attended Wake Forest Medical School and served her residency at the Medical College of Virginia. She primarily works out of the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas location.
Atin Agarwal, M.D.
Dr. Agarwal is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from Vaishampayan Memorial Medical College in Solapur, India. He completed a fellowship in GI and Liver Pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas, in Houston, Texas. Areas of special interest include GI and Liver pathology. Jaya Bajaj, M.D.
Dr. Bajaj is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She received her medical degree from Mumbai University, Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India, and completed a Cytopathology fellowship at NSLIJHS/Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School Of Medicine Program in New York, New York. Paul Bannister, M.D.
Dr. Bannister is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended the University of Texas Medical School and served his residency at the University of Texas Medical-Galveston. Dr. Bannister’s primary location is Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney.
Raul Benavides, M.D.
Dr. Benavides received his medical degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern. He served a residency in Internal Medicine and Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine. Special fields of interest include Molecular, Chemistry, Integration of Pathology and Clinical modalities into a unified diagnostic and therapeutic entity. He currently serves as Core Lab Director for Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Michael E. Black, M.D.
Dr. Black is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended the University of Oklahoma Medical School and served his residency at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Black’s main location is Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Plano.
Jaime Campbell, M.D.
Dr. Campbell is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Medicine, in Charleston, South Carolina. Henry I. Chen, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Chen is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. He received his M.D., D.O. and M.D./Ph.D. from Cornell University Medical School and served his residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he also participated in a fellowship. His fields of special interest are Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology. Dr. Chen’s primary work location is Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie.
Stacia Clement-Kruzel, M.D.
Dr. Clement-Kruzel is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology, with special interests in Cytopathology, Gynecologic Pathology, and Genitourinary Pathology. She attended The University of Texas at Houston Medical School for both medical school and residency. She also completed fellowships in both Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Clement-Kruzel primarily works out of the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas location.
Robin Dobson, M.D.
Dr. Dobson is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. She has special interest in Hematopathology, Flow Cytometry and Molecular Pathology. She attended University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed her residency at Baylor University Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in Hematopathology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Peter A. Dysert, M.D., Pathology Residency Program Director
Dr. Dysert is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended the University of Oklahoma Medical School and served his residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Dysert is affiliated with Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Javed I. Gill, M.D.
Dr. Gill is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Hematopathology, and Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine. He holds special interests in Hematopathology and Molecular Pathology. Dr. Gill attended the King Edward Medical College and served his residency at SUNY Health Science Center, New York. He also served a fellowship through the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. Dr. Gill’s main location is PBM Lewisville.
Joseph Guileyardo, M.D.
Dr. Guileyardo is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Forensic Pathology. He received his M.D. from Louisiana State University Medical School. Dr. Guileyardo currently serves as Director of Autopsy Services for the Baylor Health Care System, and his main interests are centered on autopsy pathology and the education of resident physicians in training. He has been published more than 25 times in peer-reviewed publications.
William G. Herlihy, M.D.
Dr. Herlihy is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with special interests in Breast, Lung, and Transplant Pathology. He earned is M.D. from Oklahoma University School of Medicine and served his residency at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, which is now his primary location.
He Huang, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Huang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China and her PhD from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology and a fellowship in Genitourinary Pathology, both at MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas, in Houston, Texas. Area of special interest includes Genitourinary pathology. Her primary location is Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Rujuta Kanhere, M.D.
Dr. Kanhere is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She received her medical degree from University of Pune, India, and served her residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. She completed a Cytopathology fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Additionally, she completed a Surgical Pathology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. LaToya G. Keglovits, M.D.
Dr. Keglovits is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. She has special interest in Hematopathology and Molecular Pathology. Meghan Koch, D.O.
Dr. Koch is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She completed a Cytopathology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Koch’s primary location is Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
John Krause, M.D.
Dr. Krause is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Pathology at Tulane University Medical Center and as Director of the Hematopathology fellowship Program at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. He received his M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Krause received the H.P. Smith Award for Distinguished Pathology Educator. He has published 200 papers and has authored books on Bone Marrow Biopsy and Case Studies in Hematology.
Temekka Leday, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Leday is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. She has special interest in Hematopathology, Flow Cytometry and Molecular Pathology. She attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her residency at Baylor University Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in Hematopathology at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Leday’s primary location is PBM Lewisville.
Joshua Mayne, M.D.
Dr. Mayne is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Mayne completed medical school and residency training at The University of Texas Medical Branch. He also completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has been recently published in his area of special interest, breast pathology. Dr. Mayne works primarily at the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney location.
Edward J. Mays, M.D.
Dr. Mays is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Mays also served a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the New York Blood Center. He is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Mays’ main location is Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Medford McCoy, M.D.
Dr. McCoy is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Richard L. Meyer, M.D.
Dr. Meyer is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and holds special interests in Gastrointestinal Pathology and Microbiology. Areas of special interest include General Surgical Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology and Infectious Disease Pathology. Dr Meyer attended Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Meyer has published frequently in peer-reviewed journals. He works primarily out of PBM Lewisville.
Benton R. Middleman, M.D.
Dr. Middleman is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has special interests in Hematopathology and Genitourinary Pathology. He attended the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and served his residency at Emory University Hospital, where he also had a fellowship in Surgical Pathology. Dr. Middleman is the Chief Medical Officer of med fusion.
William Neumann, M.D.
Dr. Neumann is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, in San Antonio, Texas and served his residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He completed a Surgical Pathology fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, and a GI Pathology fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, VA North Texas Healthcare System, and Caris Life Sciences. Karen R. Pinto, M.D., Chief of Surgical Pathology, BUMC
Dr. Pinto is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology, with a special interest in Gynecologic Pathology. She attended Goa Medical College, served residency at New York Medical College and a fellowship in Obstetrical, Gynecological, and Perinatal Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Magee Women’s Hospital. Dr. Pinto works out of Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Amanda Profit, M.D.
Dr. Profit is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She also completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology and a fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology, both at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Metin Punar, M.D.
Dr. Punar is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with a special interest in Microbiology. He attended Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center. He also had a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Allison Readinger, M.D.
Dr. Readinger is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. She received her medical degree and served her residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed a Dermatopathology fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Readinger provides dermatopathology services for all PBM locations.

He completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and his fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Emory University School of Medicine. Gary Roloson, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Roloson is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and served his residency at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center in San Diego, California, as well as at LA County-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He completed a Pediatric Pathology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California, and a Surgical and Cytologic fellowship at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Texas A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine in Temple, Texas. Mansoor Sajid, M.D.

Daniel A. Savino, M.D.
Dr. Savino is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with special interests in Breast Pathology and Nephropathology. He attended Medical School at Universidad Nacional de Rosario and completed residencies at Maricopa County General Hospital and St. Louis University Hospital. Dr. Savino’s main location is PBM Lewisville.
Michelle Shiller, D.O.
Dr. Shiller completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baylor University Medical Center in July 2010. At that time, Dr. Shiller continued her training with a fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Shiller practices transplant pathology, specifically with liver, cardiac, and pulmonary transplants. Dr. Shiller also specializes in medical liver pathology. Additionally, Dr. Shiller utilizes her molecular training together with the transplant department, as well as with the clinical oncologists and in the consideration of hereditary disorders. Dr. Shiller is a member of the Precision Medicine Institute’s Advisory Committee, where she utilizes her fellowship training to assist with developing the Baylor Health Care System’s Precision Medicine Institute in all areas of application of molecular and genetic testing, utilizing molecular diagnostics. Dr. Shiller’s main location is Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Elvio Silva, M.D.
Dr. Silva is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with a special interest in Gynecologic Pathology. He attended medical school at University of La Plata and completed his residency at Hospital Francisco Muniz. He also had a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Silva provides part time pathology services at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Walter B. Simon, M.D.
Dr. Simon is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended the Baylor College of Medicine and completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center. He has published an article on Liver Transplantation after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in the American Journal of Cardiology. He has served on General and Breast Cancer Accreditation committees at Baylor University Medical Center at Garland. Dr. Simon’s main location is Methodist Southlake Hospital.
G. Jackson Snipes, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Snipes is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Neuropathology with special interests in Neuromuscular and Molecular Pathology. He attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Stanford University. He completed a fellowship in Neuropathology at Stanford University and earned his Ph.D. in Anatomy and Cell Biology at Vanderbilt University Graduate School. He has received a patent for the discovery of a hereditary neuropathy disease gene. Dr. Snipes is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Snipes also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Neuropathology and Experimental Neurology and the Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Snipes’ main location is Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Tuan Tran, MD
Dr. Tran is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Douglas Toler, M.D.

Milena Vuica-Ross, M.D.
Dr. Milena Vuica-Ross is board certified in Clinical Pathology and Hematologic Pathology. She attended medical school at the University of Zagreb in Zagreb, Croatia, and served her residency at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, she completed fellowships at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Hematopathology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Immunopathology, and Clinical Immunology. David L. Watkins, M.D.
Dr. Watkins is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and holds special interests in Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology and Liver Pathology. He attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital. Stella Wenceslao, M.D.
Dr. Stella Wenceslao is board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, Molecular Genetic Pathology, and Hematopathology. Jana Wimmer, M.D.
Dr. Wimmer is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Linda J. Winneberger, M.D.
Dr. Winneberger is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Neuropathology. She attended Baylor College of Medicine, where she also completed her residency and served a fellowship in Neuropathology. Frequently published in her field, her special areas of interest include Neurooncology, Head and Neck oncology. She was the 1998 recipient of the Outstanding Pathology Student Award at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Winneberger’ primary location is Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Plano.
Haiying Zhang, M.D.
Dr. Haiying Zhang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology, with special interests in Cytopathology and GI pathology. He attended Shanghai Second Medical University, served AP/CP residency at University of Arizona and Cytopathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Wei Zhang, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Zhang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from Binzhou Medical College in China. He completed a fellowship in Cytopathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Area of special interest includes Cytopathology. Dr. Zhang’s primary location is Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.
Xin J. “Joseph” Zhou, M.D., Director of Renal Path Diagnostics at PBM
Dr. Zhou is a world-renowned Nephropathologist who has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts, wrote 20 book chapters and edited 2 books in renal pathology. He is the lead editor of an internationally used renal pathology text entitled “Silva’s Diagnostic Renal Pathology.” He has served on the editorial boards of several major pathology and nephrology journals. His research has been focused on the pathogenesis of various medical diseases of the kidney including lupus nephritis, acute kidney injury, hypertension as well as the aging kidney. Dr. Zhou has lectured widely and served as honorary and guest professors in several universities. He is the past president of the Chinese American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Zhou’s main location is PBM Lewisville.
